How I Sharpen

I offer a precision knife sharpening. I take my time on each knife. I mainly use a modified 1×30 belt sander with a variable speed sewing machine motor spinning at 1800-2200 rpm, keeping the heat down. I also occasionally use a combination of this machine and a Tormek T-8 with CBN wheels. Knives are finished with paper and leather wheels for burr removal.
