I like doing these local pickup events for kitchen knife sharpening. It’s an alternative to what I normally do, which is setup all my gear and sharpen knives on the spot. This is a lot simpler.

Folk drop off their knives at a designated time and I take them all home and sharpen in my shop. I deliver them back to the same location for pickup the next day.

It’s been working out pretty great for me, and people seem to be happy with the arrangement.
