One scary sharp tool

What is this you may be asking?

The floral department at a local grocery store reached out and asked if I would be interested in taking this on. Heck yes I says. It’s a floral stem cutter. The handle comes down guillotine style on the upright blade.

It didn’t take long to remove and clean the blade. Took a little while to raise a burr, but after that the blade sharpened up nicely. Took a wicked edge.

Back at work and ready for duty.
