Sharpening into the night

Late night at the bench.

Just finished stropping these 3 Shun kitchen knives. What I like about these knives is that it doesn’t take much to get the edges back.

I’ve been finishing all the knives that come to me on this leather strop with the green compound. The results have been amazing. Puts a really nice polish on the new edges and refines them even further.
