Spinning My Wheels

The leather wheel is the last step in the sharpening process. Stropping removes any burr still hanging around after going through the belt progression and leaves a nice polish. This is a slower speed machine. The black arrow indicates which way the wheels are turning. You always want it spinning away from you in case the edge catches. This way the knife will throw away from you, not at you!
