Tip restoration

Do you have a knife with a broken tip? This is a common thing I see with kitchen knives that come in for sharpening.

Most don’t realize it, but a knife tip can be restored quite easily. With a little planning and a few passes on a low grit belt, I can remove enough material to reprofile the blade and create a new sharp tip. You would never know it was ever damaged.

The knife will be a little shorter, but at least now it is more functional (and looks good too!).
